Biology is the study of life, its characteristics, and various forms, and the similarities, differences and relationships among living things. A fundamental understanding of basic biological principles is essential in today's world considering the increased availability of biological technology and its application in everyday life. Emphasis in the course is placed on terminology, labortory procedure and the logical thought process as applied to problems solving and interpretation of date.
